| Q. | Why did you get into the business of photography |
| A. | I have wanted to be a photographer since I was 6 years old. Over the years I have wondered what it would be like if I had a 9-5 job with benefits, you know, a regular paycheck, so that I could make a budget and plan everything knowing what would be coming in. But then I always come back to; If I work smarter, if I make those ideas that I have become reality, then I have more potential than anyone with a 9-5. |

| Q. | How many years of experience do you have? |
| A. | Well, I photographed my first wedding during the summer before I started high school(1983). So the quick, but deceptive answer is 24 years. But I didn't become a full-time photographer until the summer of 1991. So the answer is 16+ years. |

| Q. | Do you need inspiration to take portraits (that's kind of a silly question) ? |
| A. | Inspiration... That's not a silly question. I get my inspiration to do a portrait by talking to the person, getting to know them and what they want, not only for the pictures but in life. I want to know what is important to them: kids, school, etc. |

| Q. | What kind of education did you receive to become a professional? |
| A. | You don't need any education at all to be a photographer. That being said, if you are serious about your profession you will learn all you can. I have a Bachelor of Science in Photography from Sam Houston State University (at the time, the third best photography school in the nation!) Not very many photographers are that serious! :) |
