Creative photography
This course concentrates on the application of photographic principles toward aesthetic and creative goals, including advanced composition theory, assessment and development of photographic style, and an understanding of photography as an art form. (and perhaps some history of photography). A general knowledge of cameras and exposure is required for this course, and students must have access to a fully manual camera (SLR or medium-format is preferable). Upon completion of this course, students will have a better understanding of how to control every visual aspect of their pictures, and thus possess greater creative control over the way their images are perceived.

Prerequisite: Photo 101
Cost: $347
This course has 10 hours of instruction - 2 hours per session, five sessions.
